Chef Julien Thomasson, 1* in the Michelin Guide, creative and rigorous, a pillar of the La Mainaz family.
After having proven himself with the greatest houses and Michelin Star Awarded Chefs, graduated from a hotels and cuisine education, Julien has built a solid experience of more than 20 years. He went through several prestigious family houses: Jean Paul Jeunet ** Michelin (39 Jura), Pierre Gagnaire *** Michelin in Paris (75), Château de Divonne 1* (01), Restaurant Patrick Jeffroy ** (29), L'Auberge des Templiers 1* (45) before successfully founding his Hotel Restaurant Les Ambassadeurs in Saint Chamond (42) where he obtained his Michelin Star after 3 years.
Since March 2019, he puts his experience and generosity at the service of the guests of La Mainaz which obtained its Michelin Star in 2021 renewed in 2022.
Anxious to give meaning to his creations, he works closely with local suppliers.
Sensitivity, respect for the product and inventiveness are the key words of his exceptional cuisine.
